Samagra Shiksha Assam invites applications for Assam TET 2023
Exam name: Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)
Eligibility: The eligibility criteria of a candidate to appear in the Special 6th Schedule TET are as follows:
Candidate must be a permanent resident of the 6th Schedule area districts.
Candidate must have minimum academic and professional qualification as per NCTE norms as follow
Essential Qualification:
Lower Primary TET (Classes I to V)
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education)
Graduation and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) obtained from any NCTE recognised institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in class I to V, provided the person so appointed as teacher will have to mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognised by the NCTE, with two years of such appointment as primary teacher.
Upper Primary TET (Classes VI to VIII)
Graduation and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post Graduation and B.Ed
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A./ B.Sc. Ed. or B.A. Ed/B.Sc. Ed.
Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education)
