Course name: Bachelor of Science (Research)

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates who have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination in 2023 and also those who are expecting to complete their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination in 2024

  • The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects in their qualifying exam along with any other subjects

  • The candidates must have secured a first class or 60% or equivalent grade (relaxed to pass class for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent)

Admission Details

Indian Institute of Science Banglore invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number IISc/UG/Admission/2024. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes, Person With Benchmark Disability and Economically Weaker Sections will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections and PWBD Quota. After completion of all procedures, successful candidates will be granted admission to Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, 560001.
