National Institute of Urban Affairs invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name : Financial Management Specialist

Essential Qualification :

(1) Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in accounting, finance, public financial management, economics, or another related field.

(2) The candidate should be a qualified professional accountant- CA, CWA, CPA or equivalent membership of an internationally recognized professional accountancy body.

(3) Knowledge of International Reporting Standards (IFRS) / Indian Accounting Standards (IndAS).

(4) Good social, analytical, inter-personal and planning skills.

(5) Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Essential Work Experience :

(1) At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial management.

(2) Experience in designing and assessing internal control systems using internationally accepted control frameworks.

(3) Experience in evaluating financial management systems (including budgeting, accounting, cash management, internal audit and financial reporting systems).

(4) Experience in assessing auditor competence and independence.
