Post Name: Assistant Professor
Essential Qualification: (For Assistant Professor)
A recognized Medical Qualifications included in the first or Second schedule or part II of the III schedule (other than licentiate qualification) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the condition stipulated in sub section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Pediatric Nephrology, Neonatology, Blood Bank and Neurology
- A recognized Medical Qualifications included in the first or Second schedule or part II of the III schedule (other than licentiate qualification) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the condition stipulated in sub section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- A recognized Post Graduate Degree in Pediatric with DM (Pediatric Nephrology) OR 3-year post MD teaching experience of which 2 years should be special training in Pediatric Nephrology.
- A recognized Post Graduate Degree in Pediatric with DM (Neonatology) OR 3-year post MD teaching experience of which 2 years should be special training in Neonatology.
- A recognized Post Graduate Degree in Medicine with DM or DNB Neurology equaled to DM as per MCI regulations or equivalent.
- DM (Immunology); or MD (Immuno-Haematology and Blood Transfusion) or MD (Pathology/ Bacteriology/ Haematology) Haematology and Blood Transfusion (Blood Bank) or in Pathology with two years experience or special training in Immuno-Haematology and Blood Transfusion (Blood Bank) as a Lecturer or Tutor or Senior Resident or Demonstrator after the post graduate qualification, in the speciality with at least three years experience in a recognized teaching hospital in Immuno-Haematology and Blood Transfusion (Blood Bank)in the specialty.
Other Departments
- A recognized Post Graduate Degree in the concerned specialty or equivalent.
- At least three years teaching experience in a recognized teaching Institution in the concerned speciality as Lecturer/ Tutor/ Registrar/ Demonstrator/ Senior Resident.
