Intelligence Bureau invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/Absorption

Post Name: Senior Accounts Officer

Essential Qualification: Officers under the Central Government: -

1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; or

2. With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band PB-3, 15600-39100 plus Grade pay of 5400/- (Lvl 10 as per 7th CPC) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department: and

3. Bachelors Degree from a recognized university; and

4. A pass in Subordinate Accounts Service examination or Section Officers Grade examination or Junior Accounts Officer Grade examination conducted by the central Government; Or Training in Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or equivalent and five years experience in cash, accounts and budget work.

5. The departmental Accounts Officer in Pay Band-2, 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay 4600 (Lvl 7 as per 7th CPC) with seven years regular service in the grade shall also be considered along with outsiders and in case he is selected for appointment to the post the same shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion. 

Post Name: Accounts Officer

Essential Qualification:  Officers under the Central Government: -

1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; or

2. With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the post in the Grade pay of 4200/- or equivalent (Lvl 6 as per 7th CPC) in the parent cadre/department; and

3. A pass in Subordinate Accounts Service or Section Officers Grade or Junior Accounts Officer Grade examination conducted by the Central Government. OR

4. Training in Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management and experience in cash, accounts and budget work.

5. The departmental Accountant with five years regular service in the grade, including the service rendered, if any, in the rank of Junior Accountant prior to 1st January, 2016, shall also be considered along with outsiders and in case he is selected for appointment to the post the same shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion.

Post Name: Accountant

Essential Qualification: Officers under the Central Government: -

1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; or

2. With six years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the post in the Grade pay of 2800/-(Lvl 5 as per 7th CPC) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department: or

3. With ten years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the post in the Grade pay of 2400/- (Lvl 4 as per 7th CPC) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

4. A pass in Subordinate Accounts Service or equivalent examination conducted by the organized Accounts department of the Central Government.

5. Training in Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management and three years experience in cash, accounts and budget work.
