National Institute of Urban Affairs invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Transport Planner/Mobility Expert

Essential Qualification:

1. Masters degree in Urban Planning/Transport Planning/Urban Design/ ransport Engineering or other related fields, with an understanding of sustainable transport, innovation in NbS and NMT with focus on climate resilient infrastructure;

2. Proficiency in use of office software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc), AutoCAD, traffic simulation and modelling software, etc;

3. Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with an ability to work in a multicultural environment; and

4. Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Essential Work Experience: Minimum 5 years.

Desirable:

1. Experience of working with Central Government/ State Government/ National Urban Missions (SMART City, AMRUT, etc)/ Multilateral and bilateral organizations/ Local Bodies/ Resource centers/ NGOs/ Communities;

2. Working knowledge of GIS softwares (ArcMap, AutoCAD Map, QGIS, etc) will be an added Advantage; and

3. Proficiency in spoken and written English. A good command over regional language (of Project cities) and Hindi is desirable.
