Spices Board India invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment :
Post Name : Consultant (Plant Breeding/Crop Improvement)
Essential Qualification :
(1) Retired Scientists who had served in any Central/ State Government service namely Departments/ PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies/ Commodity Boards, with minimum 10 years experience in plant breeding / crop improvement of spices/ plantation crops.
(i) Level 11 of the Pay Matrix equivalent to pre-revised Pay Scale with GP 6600/-
(ii) Level 12 of the Pay Matrix equivalent to pre-revised Pay Scale with GP 7600/-
(2) Ph. D. in Botany / Agriculture from a recognized University
Essential Work Experience : On Varietal development / Hybridization, Conservation and utilization of genetic resources and field evaluation of experimental trials in Spices / Plantation Crops.
