(i) The candidate is expected to have a strong component of biological NMR spectroscopy in Ph.D study, which is supported by strong NMR related publication records in peer-reviewed journals.
(ii) The candidate is expected to collaborate with x-ray crystallographers and electron microscopists of the institute, and hence a working knowledge in these techniques would be desired.
(iii) Understanding of theory and applications of biological NMR spectroscopy is desired.
(iv) Experience in a structure- biology/biophysics laboratory is desired.

(i) Experience in developing and characterizing various animal models for human diseases, generate anti-serum and purified antibodies against specific immunogen supported by strong publication records in peer-reviewed journals is desired.
(ii) Working experience in animal facilities in industry and/or academia is desired.

Desirable Experience:

(ii) Expertise with detailed understanding of tissue specific alterations in metabolic derangements involving but not limited to heart, liver, muscle, adipose and pancreas.
(iii) Post-doctoral experience in a metabolic disease laboratory either in academia and/or industry is desired. Research experience in metabolic diseases with strong publications in peer-reviewed journals as post- doctoral fellow.

(i) The candidate is expected to have a strong understanding in Cryo-EM experimentations and best practice knowledge of computational image processing and analysis of cryo-EM images.
(ii) Experience in cryo-tomography and electron crystallography approaches.
(iii) Expertise in the latest cryo-EM image processing software such as, RELION, cryoSPARC etc.
(iv) The candidate is expected to collaborate with x-ray crystallographers and other structural biologists of the institute, and hence an understanding of x-ray crystallography and NMR spectroscopy is desired.

(i) Expertise in small RNA-mediated gene regulation field particularly in the domain of intercellular transfer of small RNA with evidenced experience in establishing biochemical and cellular assay systems. The high quality research works should be evidenced by high impact publications in peer reviewed journals.
