ICAR Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Senior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification:

  1. Masters Degree in Plant Pathology / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences with 4/5 years of Bachelors Degree.

  2. Post Graduate Degree as above with 3 years Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years Master Degree. Should have NET qualification and two years experience.

Desirable Qualification: The envisaged work under the project involves studying in plants protein-protein interaction between effector from phytoplasma and the cognate host protein(s) through BiFC technique. Research experience in development of gene constructs and cloning them in different vector systems, expression studies in plant system through stable and transient expression are desirable. Work experience in cloning and other basic molecular biology techniques, vector designing, microbiology techniques, microscopy, qPCR and other gene expression study preferred.
