National Museum of Natural History invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/Absorption:

Post Name : Library and Information Assistant

Essential Qualification :

(1) Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Recognized research Institutions or Universities or Public Sector Undertaking or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organizations

(i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis

(ii) with six years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level 5 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department

(2) Bachelor degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a recognized University or Institute

(3) Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute.

Essential Work Experience : Two years professional experience in a library under the Central government or state Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organization or public Sector Undertakings or Universities or Recognized Research or Educational Institutions.
