Institute of Forest Biodiversity invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following post:

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow/Junior Project Fellow

Essential Qualification: 

  • 1st Class MSc Botany/MSc Life Sciences/MSc Forestry with specialization in Ecology/MSc Plant Science/MSc Agriculture(Soli Science)/MSc Chemistry/MSc Ecology/MSc Forestry Specialization Forest Pathology or Plant Pathology/MSc Agriculture(Entomology).

  • Knowledge of English(Speak, read, write)

  • Capable to work in field and laboratory

  • Computer proficiency-Intermediate in MS Office

Desirable: 

  • Capable to perform laboratory analysis.

  • Knowledge in Computer Applications and Statistics.

  • Capable of extensive touring in forest areas for the collection of data/information.

  • Skilled in identification of macrofungi.

  • Skilled in identification of insects/pests of plant species.

  • Capable of extensive touring in forest areas for the collection of data/information.
