National Sugar Institute invites applications for the following post via Deputation :

Post Name: Senior Scientific Officer(Design)

Essential Qualification :

(i) Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute ;

(ii) Officers of Central Government/ State Governments/ Union Territory Administrations/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Universities/ Recognized Research Institutions/ Semi-Government/ Autonomous or Statutory Organizations holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department ;

Essential Work Experience :

(i) Two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-8 of the Pay Matrix or equivalent, in the parent cadre or Department ;

(ii) Three years of practical experience in designing chemical equipment.

Desirable Qualification:

(i) Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University or Institute

(ii) Two years’ teaching experience in relevant field from a recognised University or Institute

(iii) One year experience in sugar machinery design
