Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/ Absorption:

Post Name: Research Officer

Essential Qualification: 

1. holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department.

2. with two years service rendered after appointment to the post on a regular basis in posts in level-9 of the pay matrix (53100-167800/-) or level-8 of the pay matrix 47600-151100/ ) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

3. Masters degree in Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics or Econometrics from a recognised University or institute; or Masters degree in Mathematics or Statistics with at least one paper in Economics from a recognised University or institute; and

4. three years experience in the field of research, investigation, collection, compilation, interpretation and analysis of statistical data.
