Institute of Physics Bhubneswar invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Postdoctoral Fellow
Essential Qualification: PhD degree in broad area of quantum condensed matter theory. Shortlisted Applicants will be asked to present a seminar to complete the application process. Those who have submitted their thesis are also eligible to apply.
Desirable Expertise: Work experience in the field of topological insulators, topological superconductors, Dirac/Weyl semimetal, non-Hermitian topological systems, twisted bilayer/multi-layer systems, application of Floquet formalism in driven quantum systems, knowledge in quantum many-body methods (e.g. Bosonization, Slave Rotor/Slave Spin/Slave Boson etc), training in KWANT package etc will be given high preference. Along with essential analytical ability, strong numerical ability with Mathematica, Python and C++ language are also highly desired.
