National Institute of Mental Health and NeuroSciences invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment :
Post Name : Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification : Post graduate in biomedical sciences, preferably genetics, human genetics, applied genetics, medical genetics, human disease genetics or related areas from a recognised University or Institution along with below mentioned criteria
(1) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR- UGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
(2) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desirable : Experience in genomics, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) (wet lab and/or bioinformatics) focused on Human Genetics and clinical applications, cell culture practices.
