(1) Bachelor degree in Fisheries Science with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
(2) Master of Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc.) with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
(3) Ph.D. in any discipline of Fisheries Science.
Essential Work Experience : A minimum of 10 (ten) years of teaching and/or research experience as Professor/Associate Professor out of which 5 years as Professor or equivalent in the pay scale of 37400-67000 GP-10000: L-14

(1) Graduate in Dairy Science/Dairy Technology /Veterinary & Animal Science/ Life Science from a recognized Institute/University
(2) Master degree in Dairy Science / Dairy Technology / Dairy Engineering / Dairy Chemistry / Dairy Microbiology / Dairy Business Management / Dairy Economics / Dairy Extension Education/any relevant branch of Veterinary & Animal Sciences with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale.
(3) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. degree in Dairy Science / Dairy Technology / Dairy Engineering / Dairy Chemistry / Dairy Microbiology / Dairy Business Management / Dairy Economics / Dairy Extension Education/ any relevant branch of Veterinary & Animal Sciences and published work of high quality.
Essential Work Experience : A minimum of ten years teaching, research/extension experience as Professor/Associate Professor, out of which five years as Professor or equivalent.
