Essential Qualification:
1. Ph.D. degree in appropriate engineering, chemistry, physics, and biology discipline.
2. At least 14 years relevant post-Ph.D. degree experience in specialized areas, with at least 4 years with Academic Grade Pay of 9,500/- or Academic Pay Level 13 A2
Desirable: Experience in VLSI Design Cycles/Use and maintenance of semiconductor fabrication equipment and mask making/Electronic manufacturing including PCB Design and fabrication/Packaging and Testing of semiconductor chips.
Post Name: Principal Scientific Officer
Essential Qualification:
1. Ph.D. degree in appropriate engineering, chemistry, physics, and biology discipline.
2. At least 10 years relevant post-Ph.D. degree experience in specialized areas, with at least 4 years with Academic Grade Pay of 8,000/- or Academic Pay Level 12
Desirable:
1. Experience in handling, setting up, installation, running, integration or designing advanced scientific equipment & systems and expertise in advanced analytical techniques: structural techniques (XRD, XRF), spectroscopic methods (Raman, NMR, XPS, UPS, FTIR etc), electron microscopy (FESEM, TEM etc), Magnetic Measurements (SQUID, PPMS etc). (preferably latest experience)
2. Experience in procurement of instruments
3. Skill of project/grant writing
4. Human resource management skill and managing of central facilities 5. Experience in organising workshop/conference/symposium

Essential Qualification:

2. At least 5 years relevant post-Ph.D. degree experience in specialized domain, with at least 3 years with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/- or Academic Pay Level 10
