Post Name: Lecturer cum Instructor

Essential Qualification:

  1. Post Graduate in Hospitality / Tourism or MBA from a recognized University / lnstitute.

  2. Full Time Degree / Full Time Three Years Diploma in Hotel Administration / Hospitality Management / Hotel Management / Hospitality Administration / Culinary Arts / Culinary Science with minimum of 55 marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from :

Essential Work Experience:

  1. At least 5 (five) years teaching experience in the grade of Assistant Lecturer or equivalent (at UG level program) from an Institute affiliated to National Council for hotel Management & Catering Technology / AICTE / State Board of Technical Education/Recognized University

  2. At least 7 years total experience (Teaching and Industry together) including 3 years, experience in Teaching/Training of a 3 Star / Heritage or above category approved hotel.


Post Name: Assistant Lecturer Cum Assistant Instructor

Essential Qualification:

  1. Post Graduate in Hospitality / Tourism or MBA from a recognized University / Institute.

  2. Full Time Degree / Full Time Three Years Diploma in Hotel Administration / Hospitality Management / Hotel Management / Hospitality Administration / Culinary Arts / Culinary Science with minimum of 55o/o marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from

Desirable Qualification:

  1. hD Degree

  2. Six months working experience in a 3 star or above category hotel

Post Name: Teaching Associates (Contractual)

Essential Qualification:

  1. Full time Bachelors Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management after 10+2 from a Recognized University and full time Masters degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management securing not less than 600% marks in aggregate either in Bachelors or Masters Degree.

  2. Full time Bachelors Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management after 10+2 from Recognized University securing not less than 60% marks in aggregate with at least-O??*A#At L,tAl?3;S 2years industry experience

  3. Must have qualified NHTET conducted by NCHMCT with prescribed percentage to qualify for Teaching Associate. However the candidate having Ph.D in Hospitality/Hotel Management topic need not to qualify the orescribed NHTET.

Recruitment Details

Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition invites application for various posts. Total 13 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number IHM/2022-23/AL.L.TA/735. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 40, depending on the specific post. With reference to the Advertisement No IHM/2Q22-23/Advt AL, L &TA/1734 dated 24.06.2022, it may be noted that the Practical Skill Test and Teaching Aptitude Test scheduled to be held from 28th September 2022 to 30th September 2O22 for the recruitment to the Post of Assistant Lecturer-cum-Assistant Instructor and Teaching Associates (on contractual basis) at IHM-Goa, has been Post-Pond due to Unavoidable Circumstances.
