Indian institute of Astrophysics invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Site Engineer

Essential Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute with 60% aggregate marks

Essential Work Experience:

• Minimum 05 years experience in the relevant field in reputed organizations for major civil projects

• Good in communication skills both in English/Kannada.

• Good knowledge of studying the Architectural/Structural/MEP/drawings /Specifications and corelating these.

• Experience in Planning and execution of works as per the design drawings, supervision of works.

• Should have experience in preparing estimates, rate analysis, Bill of Quantities as per the CPWD norms, Quality check of concrete and other construction materials at site.

• Experience in maintaining daily labour reports, quality checks, material accounting, material requirement, safety precautions, and knowledge of civil interior works.

• Experience in PHE works, knowledge of surveying, taking levels, plotting areas of cutting/filling etc.

• Should have knowledge of AutoCAD, well versed with MS office, good in noting and drafting etc.

• Should be ready to assist in works related to management/administration of the Project.

• Should be willing to travel between Mysuru and Bengaluru as per the Project’s requirement.
