CSIR National Institute of Oceanography invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Project Assistant
Essential Qualification:
BCA / BSc Computer Science
BSc Mathematics / Physics / Electronics / Computer Science or BCA, or Three Yeasrs Diploma in Computer Science / Electronics /Mechanical / Civil
Desirable:
Experience in web designing tools such as html, java script, CSS, node.js, etc
Experience in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Java
Working experience using Linux systems Development of web-based applications Database management Maintenance of workstations and lab inventory Assisting project leader for all project related matters
Working knowledge in C, C++ or Python programming To participate in cruise/field works at monthly intervals on board cargo ships/passenger ships/research ships to collect vertical temperature, and salinity profiles Coastal sea surface salinity sampling at 10 beaches along the east coast of India, and their analysis
