Port Management Board invites applications for the following post via Deputation

Essential Qualification: 

Officers under the Central Government, Maritime State Government, Maritime Union Territories, Shipping Corporation of India and Port Trusts:-

a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis; OR

(ii) Three years regular service in the post in the scale of 1100-1600 (Pay Level-11, 67700-208700 as per 7th CPC) or equivalent: or and

b) Possessing essential qualifications and experience specified for direct recruits. The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion. Period of deputation/contract including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately proceeding this appointment in the same or some other organization/department of the central government shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years.

c) Certificate of Competency as Master of Home Tradeship granted by the GOI.

Essential Work Experience: 5 years experience as Master of Home Trade

Desirable: Certificate of Competency as Master of Foreign going Ship issued by the GOI.
