Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in Doctoral programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Educational Qualification:

  • Masters degree (ME /M Tech) or MS by Research in CSE or related specializations with Bachelors degree (BE /B Tech) in CSE/ECE or related branches with a minimum of 60% (or above) aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) in UG and PG for admission under GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL category and 55% (or above) aggregate marks (CGPA of ≥ 6.0/10) for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Or

  • Masters degree ME /M Tech in CSE/ECE and related specializations with MSc in Computers or related branches with a minimum of 60% (or above) aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) in MSc and ME /M Tech for admission under GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL category and 55% (or above) aggregate marks (CGPA of ≥ 6.0/10) for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

  • Exceptional Candidates having BE / B Tech in CSE/ECE or equivalent disciplines from Top 50 NIRF ranking institutions in 2022 with CGPA of 8.0 and above with demonstrated research potential by means of research papers, IPs and similar research outcomes may also be considered.

  • Bachelors and Masters degree in Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent discipline with a minimum of 60% (or above) aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) in UG and PG for admission under GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL category and 55% (or above) aggregate marks (CGPA of ≥ 6.0/10) for SC/ST/PwD candidates with a valid score in GATE or CSIR/UGC NET(JRF)/NBHM/INSPIRE.
