Indian Museum Kolkata invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment :

Post Name : Young Professional (Education)

Essential Qualification : Masters degree in History or Archaeology or Ancient Indian History Culture and Archaeology (AIHCA) or Ancient Indian History and Culture or Museology or Epigraphy and Numismatics from a recognized University or institute.

Essential Work Experience : Minimum of 2 years of work experience of creating programme schedules, offering guidance to school children, visitors and VIPs, participating in various initiatives, organizing advertisements, generating work orders, composing working notes and promoting through media outlets like newspaper, radio, etc.

Desirable :

(1) Good working knowledge on the computer.

(2) Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.

(3) Experience in a museum.

 

Post Name: Young Professional (Information Technology)

Essential Qualification :

(1) MCA with one year of experienc

(2) BCA with three years of experience

Essential Work Experience : BE/B.Tech. in the fields of Computer Science or Computer and Networking Security or Information Technology with three years of experience.

Desirable :

(1) Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.

(2) Experience in a museum.

(3) Candidates should have a good working knowledge of technology-based skills on the computer and ability to work on ICT applications.
