Post Name: Technical Officer(Fire Safety)

Essential Qualification:

M. Tech/M. E Degree in Fire Safety Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University/ Institute with two years relevant experience in Pay Level - 7. OR

Bachelor’s Degree (four years) in Fire Safety Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a

recognized University/ Institute with five years relevant experience in Pay Level - 7.

2. Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications, M.S Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent is a must.

Essential Work Experience:

1. Experience in Fire Fighting operations & system maintenance, handling safety – related jobs like incident / accident reporting/ investigation analysis, safety inspection, job safety analysis;

2. Fire safety in high rise buildings

Desirable:

1. Relevant Experience in Central/State Govt. organizations/ Industries of Repute will be an added advantage; and /or

2. Qualification and experience in Occupational Health and Safety (OHAS) will be an added advantage and weightage; and/or

3. A certification in computer course for a minimum of three months OR Information Technology or related paper as one of the subjects at graduation level or subsequently, should possess working knowledgeon computer and should be reasonably well versed to work on MS Word, PPT, Excel etc.

4. Experience in handling construction safety; and should have knowledge of safety rules/ manual.
