Essential Qualification:
(a) Passed in Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent and Possessing a pass Certificate in Library and Information Science from any of the following institutions.
(i) Training Centre attached to the Bengal Library Association.
(ii) Training Centre attached to the District Library, Ramakrishna Boys Home, Rahara.
(iii) Training Centre attached to the Janata Colleges, at Kalimpang and Banipur.
(iv) Any other training Centre recognized by the Govt. of West Bengal for the purpose.
(b) Candidates with Bachelors Degree in Library and Information Science or equivalent are also eligible to apply.
(c) Basic Knowledge in Computer Application.
(d) Knowledge in Bengali.
Desirable: Working experience in Library Administration (Applicable only for full paid employee in a Library).
