Essential Qualification :
(1) Chemistry : MSc in relevant branch with 55% marks or equivalent grade and must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR. Candidate who has been awarded a PhD degree in accordance with PhD regulations 2009 and onwards may be exempted from the NET
(2) Chemical Engineering : BE/BTech and ME/MTect in relevant branch with first class or equivalent either in BE/BTech or ME/MTech from recognized university and First class or equivalent in BE/Tech in relevant branch and PhD in relevant branch from recognized university.
