National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification:

• Candidate with BE/B Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering and other allied disciplines with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5/10 CGPA). Candidate must have qualified GATE examination. (old gate score will also be considered). OR

• M Tech/ME in Manufacturing/Production Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering/Materials Engineering and other allied areas with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5/10 CGPA). Candidate must have qualified GATE examination (old gate score is also considered). Those who are appearing for M Tech/ME last semester may also apply. Proof of M Tech/ME certificate has to be provided during the time of interview.

Desirable:

• Basic exposure to Metal Additive Manufacturing Processes. Candidates with prior experience will be given preference.

• Should be able to work in a team and must have good communication skills.
