Ministry of Information and Broadcasting invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Business Executive

Essential Qualification: 

Officers under the Central or State Governments or Union Territories

(A) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) with six years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level 5 in Pay Matrix as per the 7th Pay Commission recommendations [Pre- revised: Pay Band-1 5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of 2,800/-] or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

(B) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience, namely:-

(C) Bachelors degree from a recognized University or Institute.

Essential Work Experience: Two years experience in sales and distribution of publications, advertising and publicity in any Government Organization or Government-funded publishing house

Post Name: Sales Assistant

Essential Qualification: 

Officers under the Central Government:

(A) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the present cadre or department; or

(ii) with five years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Posts in Level-4 (25500-81100) in the pay matrix in the parent cadre or department; OR

(iii) with ten years of regular service in the Level-3 (27100-69100) in the pay matrix; and

(B) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience, namely

(C) Bachelors degree in Commerce or Economics or Statistics from a recognized University .

Essential Work Experience: Three years experience in a publishing house or with books-seller or in an organization under the Central Government or State Government dealing with the sale and distribution of publications and other publicity literature
