Indian Bureau of Mines invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Essential Qualification:

(A) Officers of the organized Group A Services or All India Services:-

(a)(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) With one year of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in level-15 in the pay matrix (182200-224100) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

(b) Possessing minimum of three years experience in Ministries or Departments of the Central Government or States Government dealing with mines and minerals; or

(B) Officers of the Central Government other than (A) above, States Government or the Union territories or autonomous or statutory Organisation or public sector undertakings or University or recognised research institution,-

(a)(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) With one year of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in level-15 in the pay matrix (182200-224100) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

(iii) Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering or Mineral Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy from a recognised University or institute; or

(iv) Masters Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Ore Dressing or Chemistry or Physics from a recognised University or institute;

(v) 25 years experience in -

(vi) Metalliferous (Non-coal) mines which includes the period as graduate or management or junior trainee engineer; or

(vii) Government Department dealing with mines and minerals as Group A officer dealing with mines and minerals; or

(viii) Guiding research in a Laboratory or in a Plant conducting Ore Dressing or Mineral Beneficiation or Mineral Agglomeration work.
