Sports Authority of India invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Lead (Research)

Essential Qualification: Persons having Masters Degree (2 years)/ Masters Degree (1 year) from any foreign University in relevant subject (Sports Management) or technical qualifications like B. Tech or MBA or equivalent qualifications in relevant filed with minimum 1 year of experience in relevant field as per job description or Bachelors degree with Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant field as per job description.

Desirable:

• Year Post Graduate Diploma specialization in Sports Management/ Sport Science/ Performance Analysis/ Statistics or equivalent degree from a recognized university.

• Experience in data science methods such as inferential statistics, Regression Analysis, classification, etc.

• Knowledge of software like MS Office, Excel, Power Point, research and data visualization tools like Tableu, etc.

• Understanding of results and competition formats in Olympic sports. Candidates who have participated in nationals and international level in Olympic Sports Disciplines would be given preference.

• Applicants with research experience, published papers and post qualification experience in the relevant field would be preferred.
