NTPC Limited invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Assistant Manager (Safety)

Essential Qualification: Degree in Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution with a full time Diploma/PG Diploma/PG Degree in Industrial Safety from Regional Labor Institute/Central Labor Institute/Institution recognized under the Factories Act/Rules or Engineering Degree in Industrial Safety/Fire and Safety with at least 60% marks from a University/ Institution recognized under the Factories Act/rules.

Essential Work Experience:

• Minimum 11 years post qualification relevant executive experience (including training/ trainee period, if any) in compliance with safety regulations under the Factories Act / Relevant Act, development and implementation of safety inspection/monitoring and audit systems; implementation of safety norms; enforcement of preventive safety measures etc. Experience in organising safety and firefighting trainings with good coordination schemes shall be preferred. Relevant Safety experience will be counted from the date of acquiring Degree in Engineering.

• Minimum 11 years of post-qualification experience (including training/trainee period, if any) in the executive cadre in a Government/Public Sector Undertaking or Private company of repute, out of which minimum 03 years experience in the post and scale of 50000-160000 or above (IDA pay scale of E2 grade or above of NTPC effective from 01/01/2017) or equivalent level/post profile.
