Essential Qualification: 

  • Post Graduate Degree in History having minimum 55% of Marks besides sufficient contribution either in History or in any subject having direct bearing on the History of Assam.

  • Preference will be given to the person having Doctorate Degree in History.

  • Weightage will be given to the person having official as well as research experience.

Post Name: Special Officer (Ahom Studies)

Essential Qualification: 

  • Post Graduate Degree in History of a recognized University.

  • A certificate/Diploma in Ahom-Tai from a recognized University.

  • Published works in History.

Desirable: Proficiency in reading and deciphering of Ahom-Tai manuscripts is desirable.

Recruitment Details
