Post Name: General Duty Medical Officer

Essential Qualification: Medical Qualification included in the First and Second schedules or Part-II of the Third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and registration as medical practitioner in West Bengal

Desirable: Six months practical training as House Staff in any Government hospital or other recognized institution

Recruitment Details

West Bengal Public Service Commission invites application for various posts. Total 300 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 06/2023. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 40, depending on the specific post. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes and Person With Benchmark Disability will be as per the government rules.
