National Disaster Management Authority invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment :

Post Name : Senior Consultant (Disaster Management)

Essential Qualification : Masters degree or higher in Disaster Management, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized University

Essential Work Experience :

(1) Experience of at least five years in Disaster Management emergency management, disaster response/recovery or similar area.
(2) Duration of research work (PhD, Post Doctoral) will be counted in work experience, either actual duration or 5 years, whichever is less.
(3) Proven track record of successfully evaluating and managing disaster management projects.
(4) Familiarity with national standards and protocols in disaster management.

(5) Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
