Department of Water Resources River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Essential Qualification:

  1. A serving officer under Central Government/State Governments/ Union Territories/ Recognized Research Institutions/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Semi Government/ Autonomous/ Statutory Organizations:

  2. Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department,

  3. OR

  4. Three years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 14 of the pay matrix (1,44,200-2,18,200/-) or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department,

  5. OR

  6. Twenty- five years regular service in Group A posts out of which at least one-year regular service should be in Level 14 of pay matrix (1,44,200 2,18,200/-) or equivalent posts in the parent cadre/Department.

  7. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or equivalent OR

  8. Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department, OR

  9. Three years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 14 of the pay matrix (1,44,200-2,18,200/-) or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department, OR

  10. Twenty-five years regular service in Group A posts out of which at least one-year regular service should be in Level 14 of pay matrix (1,44,200 2,18,200/-) or equivalent posts in the parent cadre/Department.

Essential Work Experience: Minimum 18 years experience of dealing with matters relating to management of water resources projects out of which minimum 3 years experience in dealing with matters related to Dam Safety Services/ Dam Engineering/ Dam Safety Management
