Essential Qualification: M.Tech / M.E (Ocean Engineering / Marine structures / Coastal Management / Marine Engineering and Management/ Dredging and Harbour Engineering / OR Equivalent) OR M.Sc Physical Oceanography with minimum 2 years research experience in the relevant field OR B.E / B.Tech (Civil) with minimum 2 years research experience in the relevant field
Desirable
(i) Project work during ME/MTech/MSc related to coastal physical process/coastal sediment transport / coastal geomorphology studies will be given preference
(ii) Data collection and analysis of coastal physical parameters. Preparation and deployment of coastal moorings. Surf zone data collection. Numerical model simulations of coastal processes. Computer programming and report writing

Essential Qualification: M.Sc Geology / Applied Geology / Marine Geology
Desirable: Experience of working on Geophysical data (Seismic Interpretation).The candidate is required to work and assist the scientists in Geophysical data interpretation and geological data and assist in writing reports and publications
