Post Name: Syrang of Lascars

Essential Qualification:

  1. 10th Pass from a recognized institute or board

  2. Syrang Certificate granted under inland Vessels Act, 1917 or Merchant Shipping Act, 1958

  3. Two years experience as Syrang-in-Charge of a Registered vessel of twenty horse power.

Recruitment Details

The Indian Navy invites application for various posts. Total 8 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. The minimum age limit is 18 and maximum age limit is 25 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes, Person With Benchmark Disability, Ex-Servicemen and Government Servant/ Departmental Candidate will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes and Unreserved . The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India, 744103.
