Union Public Service Commission invites applications for the following post via Deputation/Promotion

Library & Information Officer

Essential Qualification:

Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Recognized Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations: 

a) 

(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in thee parent cadre or department; or

(i) with seven years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level-7 (44900-142400) of the pay matrix or equivalent

(b) possessing the following educational qualification and experience:

(i) Masters degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University or institute.

(ii) five years professional experience in a Library under Central Government or State Government or Union Territory or autonomous or statutory organization or Public Sector Undertakings or University or recognized research or educational institution.
