Post Name: Director and Senior Professor

Essential Qualification:

  • MA/MSc in Demography or Statistics or Economics or Mathematics or Sociology with specialization in statistics

  • Post–graduate training in Demography from an Institute of repute in Indian orForeign University

  • Atleast 10 years of experience in Demographic research, out of which atleast5 years of teaching experience in a research centre or University or Government Department in a capacity equivalent to Professors rank

  • Administrative experience of atleast 3 years in some teaching and/orresearch institute or University or Government Department

Desirable:

  • Doctorate in Demography

  • Research publication of a high standard in the field of Demography,Population Studies, Economics, and/or Statistics
