ICAR National Research Centre on Equines invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following post:

Post Name: Research Associate

Essential Qualification:

  1. For Doctoral Degree holders: Ph.D. in Molecular Biology &/or Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or the relevant subject .

  2. Masters Degree in relevant subject as above with 4/5 years of Bachelors degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least 3 years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associate ship/ Training/Other engagements.

Desirable: Candidates demonstrating experience in the field of bacteriophage research and having good hands-on experience of biotechnology and microbiology will be preferred.

Essential Qualification:

  1. Masters degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or relevant subject to the project with 4 year/5 years of Bachelors degree.

  2. The candidate having postgraduate degree in basic sciences with 3 years of Bachelors degree and 2 years of Masters degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No Edn./6/ 271 2014/HRD dated 13th July 2015, OM No Agril Edn.6/27/2014- HRD 9th October,2015 of the Council and OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30th January,2019.

Desirable: Candidates demonstrating experience in the field of cloning/protein expression, knowledge in area of nanotechnology, bioinformatics tools and microbiology will be preferred
