Essential Qualification:

  2. M.Sc. in Botany / Plant Sciences

  3. M.Sc. in Botany / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Biological Sciences

  4. M.Sc. in Botany / Plant Sciences / Environmental Sciences / Plant Ecology / Biochemistry / Forestry

  5. M.Sc. in Botany / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Biological Sciences

  6. M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Bioinformatics

  7. M.Sc. in Botany / Plant Sciences / Agricultural Science / Biological Sciences

Desirable:

  1. Knowledge of secondary metabolites in medicinal plants

  2. Experience in survey and collection of plant specimens / Taxonomy of angiosperm and computer application

  3. Experience in molecular biology and genomics techniques with a minimum one year R&D experience in the relevant area.

  4. Basic knowledge of bioinformatics

  5. Knowledge in plant conservation, ecological sampling, quantification of various ecosystem services and basic knowledge in ecological niche modelling

  6. Experience in plant virology with hands-on experience in lateral flow immunoassay

  7. Experience in field gene bank and macro-propagation

  8. Experience in tissue culture techniques

Essential Qualification:

  1. Ph.D. in Botany / Plant Sciences / Plant Ecology / Environmental Science

  2. M.Sc. in Bioinformatics / Biotechnology / Biological Sciences / Agricultural Sciences including statistics alongwith 4 years R&D experience in the relevant area or Ph.D. in any one of the above subjects.

Desirable:

  1. Working experience in plant ecology threatened plant conservation, GIS mapping and ecological niche modeling

  2. NGS Data analysis
