Post Name: Scientific Officer-B (Lab Support)

Essential Qualification:

(a) Full Time Masters degree in Life Science (from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks).

(b) 2 years experience in any academic/Private laboratory or similar setting closely related to the position.

Desirable:

(a) Candidates with good communications skills are preferred

(b) Knowledge of use of personal computers and applications.

Post Name: Junior Engineer-B (Information Technology)

Essential Qualification:

(a) Full Time Diploma in Engineering (from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks) in relevant discipline

(b) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications

Essential Work Experience: Two (2) years hands on experience on the following:

1. Working knowledge on Linux OS

2. Installation/Compilation of software in Linux

3. Bash/Python scripting

4. Working/Testing with with open-source applications

5. Installation/Compilation of softwares in Linux

6. Regularly upgrade systems as needed as well maintaining periodic backups and verification.

7. Manage desktop and lab server infrastructure

8. Manage Helpdesk calls for systems which involves resolving/updating issues/tickets, request tracking, analytics and reporting on tickets.

Desirable:

(a) Configuring DHCP. DNS, Firewalls on Linux servers

(b) IT Desktop security

(c) Preparation of technical documents, evaluations, cost estimates etc.
