Essential Qualification:

Research Associate-I: Ph.D. degree in Astrophysics/Cosmology. Candidate should have research experience in the field of Galaxies, with an knowledge of galaxy morphology, galaxy mergers, AGN and star formation. Some exposure to data analysis in one or more wavebands (such as optical, NIR, radio, X-ray) and Background knowledge of Galaxies, star formation and AGN.

 

Post Name: Research Fellow

Essential Qualification: candidates who have submitted PhD thesis in Astrophysics/Cosmology. Candidate should have research experience in the field of Galaxies, with an knowledge of galaxy morphology, galaxy mergers, AGN and star formation. Some exposure to data analysis in one or more wavebands (such as optical, NIR, radio, X-ray). but expecting their defence .Background knowledge of Galaxies, star formation and AGN is essential

Desirable:

  • A knowledge of python programming and computational techniques

  • Knowledge of computational techniques
