CSIR National Institute of Oceanography invites applications for the following post(s) via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Project Associate-I

Essential Qualification:

(i) M.Sc Marine Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Inorganic Chemistry / Hydro-chemistry.

(ii) M.Sc. Marine Geophysics / Marine Geology / Geology / Applied Geology.

Desirable: 

  • Experience of handling analytical equipment and knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

  • Assisting scientists in field for samples collection, sample analysis and processing of data in the laboratory.

  • Candidates with practical knowledge of software such as ArcGIS, Oasis Montaj, Generic Mapping Tools (GMT). Experience in Geophysical data processing in Linux OS; Participation in field surveys on boats and ships.

  • Geophysical Data acquisition, Data Processing, Interpretation, and modelling.
