Post Name: Postdoctoral Fellow

Essential Qualification: The applicant should have a PhD degree with experience in the broad area of statistical physics, soft condensed matter physics or biological physics Those who have submitted or are about to submit their PhD thesis may also apply, however they should have a provisional degree at the time of joining

Desirable: We are looking for people with either theoretical or experimental backgrounds Expertise in theoretical methods of equilibrium and non-equilibrium statistical physics, modeling, numerical simulations (molecular dynamics, and Monte Carlo ) are desirable Experience in studies of active matter, phase transition, pattern formation, stochastic dynamics/thermodynamics, complex fluids etc will be useful For the experimental activity, a background in soft matter/complex fluids/biophysics with experience in rheometry/microrheology/ optical tweezer and ability to design tabletop experiments is desirable The ability to collaborate and work in a multidisciplinary setup is expected
