Essential Qualification :

(1) The candidate should have a very good academic record, with at least a second class Masters degree in Economics or Econometrics and a year’s experience in teaching and / or research. Candidates should have a sound knowledge of econometrics (including panel data and time series analysis), and proficiency in statistical packages such as Stata and Eviews. Knowledge of either Stata or Eviews is essential; preferably, the candidate will know how to use both. Knowledge of R software will also be an asset.

(2) Preference will be given to those who have completed an M.Phil or a Ph.D degree,

have taught econometrics and analyzed data in projects.
