Central Institute of Horticulture invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Director

Essential Qualification: Officers under the Central or State Government or Union Territory Administration or Public Sector Undertaking or recognized research institute or Agricultural university or Statutory or Autonomous organization:-

(a) (i) Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department.

(ii) With two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 13 (1 ,18,500-2,14,100) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;

(iii) With six years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in pay level 12 (78,800-2,09,200) in the pay matrix in the parent cadre or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience, namely:-

1. Masters Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognized University;

2. Doctorate in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognized University;

3. Twelve years experience in the field of horticultural development or horticulture research in Central or State Government or Union Territory or Public Sector Undertaking or recognized research institute or Agricultural University or Statutory or Autonomous organization.
