Application Summary
Gujarat National Law University invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission in undergraduate/postgraduate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -
Course name :
(1) Bachelor of Legislative Law
(2) Master of Legislative Law
Essential Qualification : A candidate seeking admission under the NRI category shall have to fulfil any one of the below-mentioned conditions:-
(1) At least one of the parents of such candidates shall be a Non-Resident Indian and shall ordinarily be residing abroad as a Non-Resident Indian
(2) The person who sponsors the candidate for admission shall be in the first-degree relation with the candidate and shall be ordinarily residing abroad as a Non-Resident Indian;
(3) If the candidate has no parents or no near relatives or has not been taken as a ward by some other nearest relative, such candidates may also be considered for admission under the NRI category, provided that the guardian has bonafidely treated the candidate as a ward and shall be able to file an affidavit indicating the interest shown in the educational affairs of the candidate and his/her relationship with the candidate. Further, such person (guardians) shall be a Non-Resident Indian and ordinarily residing abroad as a Non-Resident Indian;
(4) The Person of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders are also eligible for admission under the NRI seats available at GNLU.
