Ministry of Ports Shipping and Waterways invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/Promotion

Post Name: Chief Ship Surveyor-cum-Joint Director General (Technical)

Essential Qualification:

Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Administrations or Port Trusts or Shipping Companies or Shipyards in the Public Sector,-

a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) with three years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of 14, 300-18, 300 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience.

(i) Degree in Naval Architecture from a recognized University or equivalent.

(ii) 15 years experience in design, Construction and repair of ships.
