Aligarh Muslim University invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Guest Teacher (Agriculture)

Essential Qualification:

1. Good academic record as defined by the University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Masters degree level in Agronomy.

2. Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, ICAR etc.

3. Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clause (i) and (ii) above candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in relevant subject in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum standard Procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 ICAR Regulations shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent position in University/ Colleges/ Institution. The Ph.D. degree should be in Agronomy. OR

The Phd degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any tie) by any one of the following:

1. Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)

2. The Times Higher Education (THE) or

3. The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai)
